The difference between insulation mortar and cement mortar
March 5th
1、 Differences in material composition
Thermal insulation mortar is made from polystyrene particles as the main raw material, combined with cement, lime, sand, etc. In contrast, cement mortar is composed of cement, sand, and an appropriate amount of water.
2、 Different construction methods
Thermal insulation mortar is often used for external wall insulation, roof insulation and other projects, and its construction method is relatively complex and requires high requirements. Commonly used for embedding and applying putty on insulation boards. Cement mortar is usually used in civil engineering, bricklaying, plastering and other construction aspects, and its construction method is relatively simple.
